7/21 - Labor Day: Wed. Night Boise River Floats
Plan to float Boise River every Wed. night at 6:00 pm till Labor
Day. We are meeting at Ann Morrison Park at the east entrance (Royal
Street entrance off of 9th Street.) We try to meet at 5:30 pm so
we can unload vehicles and gear and get the cars ready to shuttle
up to Barber promptly at 6:00 pm.
It usually takes a couple of hours
to float. There are several diversion dams, some over hanging branches
and bushes and bridge abutments to contend with so make sure you
feel comfortable maneuvering your canoe or kayak.
We will have a BBQ
at the take out in Ann Morrison after we are done paddling the
river. We will provide the hamburgers, hotdogs, sodas, and water.
Bring
a
side dish or dessert to share this week.
Hope to see you this Wednesday. Call 336-4844 for more information
or questions
